A Rhythmic Mind was founded by Brian Goldfine, MT-BC in 2015.  Brian earned a BA in Music from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, a Post- Baccalaureate certification, from Columbia College Chicago in audio production, and is currently a student at Loyola University New Orleans where he is pursuing his Masters degree in Music Therapy. Brian's work with individuals with special needs and trauma inspired him to create A Rhythmic Mind.

Brian began working as a mentor for adults with special needs in 2007.  In 2009 while working with a foster care organization, Brian developed a unique program that encouraged children in foster care to express themselves through music.  Recognizing the potential music has in our lives, he began to research the ways in which music, rhythmic exploration, and play could benefit the children and adults alike. The product of this research, A Rhythmic Mind, began with Brian's first client, Pine Lake Special Needs Warriors and is currently seeing clients in the Chicagoland area.
